Going from Dublin Airport to the Montrose

From Dublin Airport, you can take a taxi or a bus. Travelling times will vary (depending on traffic) but you should allow 50 minutes for your journey.

Taxis:

Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the airport arrivals terminal. The journey to the hotel will cost approximately €30-€40 depending on traffic.

Aircoach (a private company):

This coach service runs every 10-20 mintes from 4am to midnight, and runs once an hour off-peak: (1am - 4am)

Outside the arrivals hall, look for the blue Aircoach.  Take the route for Leopardstown and the bus stops directly outside the Montrose Hotel.

Going from the Montrose to Dublin Airport

The Aircoach will pick you up from the bus stop at UCD opposite the Montrose Hotel. Visit the Aircoach Website for timetables

From Distance How to get to the Montrose Hotel Bus aras (main bus station) 2.5 miles Follow the signs for N11 and take the slip road after the RTE studios. Connolly Station 2.5 miles Follow the signs for N11 and take the slip road after the RTE studios. Dublin Airport 12.5 miles Follow signs from M50 southbound to exit 14 heading for the N11 southbound towards Dublin City Centre and take the slip road for UCD (marked University / Hotel) Go across the flyover bridge which then swings right, take the immediate left, then right. We are on your left handside with plenty of free parking. Dublin Port 2.5 miles Follow the signs for the East Link Bridge. Follow the signs for N11 and take the slip road after the RTE Studios. Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port 3 miles From the port, take the N11 towards the city centre. Take the slip road at UCD, cross over the flyover bridge which then swings right, take the immediate left, then right and the hotel is on your left handside with plenty of free parking. Heuston Station 3.5 miles Follows signs for city centre. Look for signs for N11 and take slip road after the RTE studios. O2 Arena Dublin 2.5 miles Follw the signs for the East Link Toll Bridge then follow signs for the N11 & take the slip road after the RTE Studios. Trinity College 2.5 miles Follow the signs for the N11 and take the slip road after the RTE Studios. The 46A bus leaves from outside Trinity College and drops off outside the hotel.
